Spring Green Smoothie Recipe | Step by Step Guide

The recipe isn’t just for the spring season because it’s named “spring green smoothie.” This green smoothie is one of my favorites.

The Spring Green Smoothie is the most refined and delicious of the Vitamix Smoothie Recipes I’ve tried. However, calling it difficult would be an exaggeration; instead, it contains a large list of ingredients.

You should definitely try this recipe because the end product is wonderful!

How To Make the Spring Green Smoothie?

To begin, prepare the ingredients as you would for any other recipe.

To begin, combine the green grapes and water. After that, peel the lemon and orange and remove the seeds. To make things easier, choose seedless fruits wherever possible.

After that, coarsely cut the cucumber. It’s not necessary to remove the rind with this one. The apple is identical, only that the seeds must be removed first.

Combine these ingredients in a blender.

Remove the kale and parsley stems that are fibrous. Using a ready-to-use spring greens mix will save you time. After that, top with frozen pineapple chunks and ice cubes.

Finally, cover the blender with the lid and blend until smooth.

Blenders having a 64-ounce or higher capacity are recommended. For producing a smooth consistency, use a Vitamix blender or other strong blenders.

Substitutions and Add-Ons

For the green grapes, you can use strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or red grapes. Green apple can be replaced with red apple, peaches, and pears.

For the vegetables, you can use whichever greens you have on hand. I used spinach as a substitute for spring greens mix instead of going to the grocery.

What matters the most? Remember to alternate your greens at least once a week!

As a garnish, a ring-sliced cucumber or a lemon can be utilized. You may even utilize the lovely parsley leaves.

  • ¼ cup (60 ml) water
  • cup (225 gm) green grapes
  • 1 orange, peeled and halved
  • ½ lemon, peeled
  • ½ cucumber, roughly chopped
  • ½ green apple (100 gm), halved and seeded
  • 2 cups (260 gm) cups ice cubes
  • 1 cup (60 gm) fresh parsley leaves
  • 1 cup (150 gm) frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup (65 gm) kale
  • 1 cup (50 gm) spring greens mix

Instructions
 

  • Prepare all of your ingredients, particularly the orange, lemon, cucumber, and apple.
  • In a blender, combine the ingredients in the order listed and secure the cover.
  • Blend for 45 seconds on high speed or until perfectly smooth.
